Looting has been a serious problem amid the massive destruction caused by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles… but firefighters were able to stop some suspects and it was caught on camera.
Firefighters were working in the Altadena neighborhood ravaged by the Eaton Fire on Thursday when they encountered two people they suspected were not well … and their suspicion led to the arrests.
In a video obtained by Fox 11 Matthew Seeorff … firefighters confront a female suspect who was carrying items from the burned home, which included an Emmy and a Sharp Award – legal, owner name unknown.
The suspect told firefighters the items were his and he was trying to secure the area … before he and the other suspect appeared to take off.

Needless to say, firefighters prevented that from happening and the suspects were arrested shortly after.
In the wake of the Los Angeles wildfires, several suspects have been arrested… and law enforcement has made it clear that anyone brave enough to try it will be prosecuted to the fullest extent.
