Kristin Chenoweth stands by his prayers Diddy … even though the rapper is currently in federal custody awaiting trial on racketeering and sex trafficking charges.
We caught up with the Broadway legend in New York City and asked him if he still keeps Diddy in his thoughts… given the weight. the charge against him in September.
According to Kristin, she’s “still praying” for Diddy … but admitted the case against the Bad Boy Records founder is “really bad.”
Christine’s comments come six months after the actress addressed the Diddy saga when she announced she would be praying for him after surveillance footage the rapper beat up his ex-girlfriend Cassie surfaced.
At the time, Kristin said her decision to pray for Diddy was inspired by her own past experiences with abuse … revealing that she had previously been “severely abused” by her ex.
According to Kristin, she turned to prayer to help her heal her trauma…which is why she explored a similar mindset with Diddy.
However, after Cassie’s gruesome video, Didi faced a series of additional sexual assault charges and was arrested on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution, all of which she has denied, as well as the charges brought against her in civil lawsuits.
However, Christine prefers to focus on the positive… also taking a moment to talk to us about her boyfriend, Ariana Grande‘s speech in the upcoming film “Evil”.
