Kristin Chenoweth Glinda may have nailed it on Broadway, but she was all about a wicked smooth transition as she passed the baton; Ariana Grande On the set of the movie Charer.
The stage star shared some behind-the-scenes magic on Xposting pictures of her and Ariana rocking matching pink Glinda jackets on set … explaining that she surprised him with the outfit as a “little physical reminder of our ‘passing of the baton.’
In true Glinda form, Kristin said she did her best to lead Ariana down the yellow brick road, or really any road, and couldn’t be more proud of her.
Of course, Christine’s sweet gesture came during her shoot for the movie; After all, she was the OG Glinda in the 2003 Broadway production, which won a Tony nod for her iconic performance.
Needless to say, all that love for Wicked paid off in a big way. the film is absolutely crushing it with $359.3 million worldwide so far.
