Many Angelenos are furious with the mayor Karen Bass right now, with deadly wildfires ravaging SoCal… and Khloe Kardashian made it clear that he was one of them.
Chloe called the mayor Friday night after the Los Angeles fire chief Christine Crowley amazing click where he said the city (meaning Bass) has failed him, mostly due to budget cuts…calling the situation “no longer sustainable.”
The Kardashian sister published a part of the interview on Instagram and added: “Thanks for the honesty, Chief Crowley…Mayor Bass, you’re a joke!”
Bass and Crowley reportedly had a very long private meeting after the interview… the content of which is unclear, but CS is still in his role as the lead.
Battered Bass as well as Governor. Gavin Newsom — has been torn apart by some of the public’s response, or lack thereof, to the deadly wildfires that have ravaged parts of Pacific Palisades, Malibu and Altadena throughout the week.
Of course, Khloe isn’t the only celebrity to bash the mayor and governor over the wildfire response… Mel Gibson and: James Woods also called on the leadership couple.
A “frustrated Californian” has started an online petition calling for Mayor Bass’ immediate resignation … so far it has received more than 56,000 signatures.
