Justin Baldoni
My own lawyer once sued me…
A script was allegedly stolen from a disabled writer

Justin Baldonihas clearly put aside his differences with his lawyer… the reason being that the lawyer who is now representing him in a lawsuit against him. Blake Lively once represented a man who sued Baldoni for allegedly ripping off a script his client had written.
Brian Friedman – the man whose law firm is representing Baldoni in his legal battle with Blake Lively has filed a lawsuit on behalf of a man. Travis Flores back in 2021, claiming that Flores wrote the script for the movie Three Feet Apart based on his own life.
The lawsuit alleges that Flores was working on another project with Baldoni when Justin unknowingly got hold of her script.
Flores claims Baldoni then made his own movie Five Feet Apart based on his screenplay…essentially stealing Flores’ idea.
Flores, with Friedman’s help, sued Baldoni and other parties for copyright infringement and breach of contract, a case that was reportedly settled and Flores died last year.
Well, Friedman has apparently gone from being a legal adversary to being a staunch supporter of Baldoni’s… defending his client in hundreds of million dollar lawsuits, including one against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds and the other against The New York Times.
It’s not unusual for Hollywood lawyers to sue one person and then represent them … but it will certainly alarm those who have watched Friedman regularly take shots at the publicist Lively. Leslie Sloanand others.
