Justin Baldoni warns Disney and Marvel to preserve all documents related to various characters Ryan Reynolds played in “Deadpool & Wolverine” as he ramps up his court case … and he zeroes in on one particular character he believes was meant to taunt and bully him.
Baldoni’s lawyer, Brian Friedmansent a legal letter to Marvel’s that TMZ has seen Kevin Feige and Disney Bob Igerstating that he believed Reynolds was openly mocking Baldoni in a scene in the July 2024 episode.
In the scene, Reynolds, who plays a character called “Nicepool,” drops “Where in God’s name is the relationship coordinator?” She also compliments Blake LivelyLadypool’s character to ‘come back’ after having a baby… and makes a comment about being a feminist.
Lively recently accused Baldon’s sexual harassment and making him fat postpartum body on the “I Ends With Us” set. As for the feminist line, Baldoni seems to think it’s a slap in the face when she advertises herself as a feminist and ally during the film’s promotion.
The letter asks the studio to preserve “all documents relating to or reflecting an intentional attempt to mock, harass, ridicule, intimidate or harass Baldoni through the Nicepool character.”
Reynolds, who wore many hats as a writer, producer and star of Deadpool & Wolverine, is standing by his wife Blake in the drama. Sources close to Ryan have denied the allegations.
