Juan Soto A fine dinner was served on Thursday along with a $756 million contract… TMZ Sports has learned that the Mets bought their new star and his family a steak to celebrate his official signing with the team.
We’re told just hours after Soto put pen to orange-and-blue paper at Citi Field, Steve Cohen hosted the 26-year-old and his loved ones at the world-famous Benjamin Prime Concert Hall in New York City.
Soto had a mozzarella and tomato salad…and for the main course he had a ribeye (in case you thought he was a mid-temp kind of guy).
We’re told the dinner also included a champagne toast and she got a themed cake for dessert.
The meal lasted about three hours, and those present described Soto as down-to-earth and generous throughout.
