Dion Dawkins and the rest of the Buffalo Bills offensive line gave their star quarterback their Christmas gift earlier this week… and Gabriel Jacobs Rafaello and Co. – the jeweler who made the piece – explained to us that it is truly unique.
Jacobs told us it’s set in 14k white gold … and has approximately 27 carats of diamonds (12 in the necklace and 15 in the charm).
As for how the idea came about, Jacobs said Dawkins hit him up about it on Dec. 9, and when they decided to make the mini No. 17 jersey, the jeweler had it shipped to Orchard Park by December. 20.
In addition to the precious gems… the pendant is also engraved with the names of all of Allen’s personal bodyguards.
The 28-year-old signal caller was clearly excited about it. A video shared by Dawkins on Wednesday showed him grinning from ear to ear.
There’s no telling how that set Dawkins and the boys back; Jacobs would only tell us the price was “out there,” but look at the look on Allen’s face… it was clearly worth every penny.
