In recent years, a multidisciplinary team of experts has been assembled to analyze the remaining evidence and apply the most modern scientific and cold-call techniques to try to solve the crime, the sources said. The team has consulted top experts in their fields, sources said.
It remains to be seen whether there will ever be enough information and provable evidence to support the charges.

JonBenet’s autopsy determined she had been sexually assaulted and strangled, with a fractured skull. Unknown DNA was found under her fingernails and on her underwear.
