Jerry SeinfeldHe takes his children’s former school to task… tearing up the place of learning to offer to the “unfortunate” students the day after the election, basically saying that the school makes the kids too soft.
The legendary comedian chatted The New York Times — who received a letter from Ethical Culture Fieldston School telling parents about the proposal, saying she had pulled her son out of school that very day because of such stunts.
Jerry says that his kids didn’t like school because of all the clowns… and Jerry asks. “What kind of life have these people led that makes them think this is the right way to treat young people?”
According to the NYT, the letter says school administrators want to create a safe environment for students … and they feel the day off will benefit the student body.
No homework will be given on Wednesday, or after the election results are officially announced if the count takes more than one day, and all excused absences will be ignored.
The school costs just north of $65k a year… So it’s no surprise that Jerry is hustling about Ethical Cultural Fieldston, essentially during the school day.
It’s worth noting that the Seinfelds apparently changed their minds about school because his wife jessica previously posted a glowing tribute to the school back in 2021 in their son’s name Julian graduated from school.
Seinfeld says he pulled his son out of school … apparently referring to his 19-year-old Shepherd.

Back in April, Jerry blasted the “extreme left” for taking the fun out of modern showbiz… basically railing against PC culture. He also talked about wanting masculine men back into the world, so he’s clearly not in favor of any kind of smooching in school or otherwise. He did tell me later he regretted commenting on the “far-left” devastating comedy, saying “it’s not true”.
Sources with direct knowledge tell us that … despite the backlash, the day is going ahead as planned to benefit children’s mental health.
