Jennifer Lopez Fans were left stunned at a screening of her latest film Unstoppable when an interviewer decided to bring up one of Hollywood’s biggest taboos: age.
Watch the video. J Lo was in LA Sunday for Variety’s Senior Awards editor, Clayton Daviswho gushed about his 30 years, jokingly adding that the 55-year-old was “getting up there,” a comment that didn’t go down well with the crowd.

You can hear someone off-camera gasping. “Did he just say that?” While the others laughed, obviously not thinking it was a big deal.
Clayton’s age comment was no accident, as Variety’s J Lo Career Retrospective was dedicated to celebrating her hard work from day one, which led to her current project, Unstoppable.
And J Lo clearly didn’t take it personally, turning the comment into a victory and using it as the perfect sign to thank her fans for being so good to her over the years.
It’s worth noting that Jen was probably prepared for Clayton’s questioning style, especially since she’d already interviewed him for Variety’s Awards Circuit podcast last month had developed a strong relationship beforehand.
