Jay Z says the woman who is suing him, along with Diddyto force her to reveal her identity for allegedly molesting her instead of pursuing the case anonymously … TMZ has learned.
Jay-Z’s lawyer Alex Spiro filed documents Monday morning asking a judge to compel the plaintiff to reveal himself. In documents obtained by TMZ, Spiro says: “Fair is fair. It is not fair, just, or consistent with the rules governing federal defamation proceedings by the plaintiff and his counsel.”
Furthermore, the documents state that Jay-Z has developed an “impeccable reputation” and has never been accused of or involved in any sexual misconduct.
As we reported, the “Jane Doe” accuser first sued Diddy in October, alleging that he and another unnamed celebrity molested her at a VMA after party back in 2000, when she was just 13. Then On Sunday, he filed the lawsuit again and alleged Jay-Z was the anonymous celebrity.
Jay responded to the accusation and the woman’s attorney Tony Buzby … accusing them of trying to blackmail him into avoiding his name being made public.
In the new documents, Jay says he refused to give in to Buzby’s “extortionate” demands and filed a lawsuit against him. What’s interesting is… Jay filed the lawsuit back in November, but he did so anonymously, only calling himself a “high-profile person” who attended Diddy’s parties.
Jay-Z now admits he filed the lawsuit himself, and he believes Buzbee and the accuser only outed him by adding him as a defendant when he took the stand, saying, “Make no mistake that this case is about striking back at the rare target who wouldn’t pay.”
In the documents, Jay-Z says that if the judge doesn’t force the accuser to reveal his identity, he wants the judge to dismiss the case.
