Trevor Lawrence Sunday took a brutal hit late in Sunday’s game … and his teammates quickly jumped to his defense, arguing with the other team midway through the game.
With four minutes left in the second quarter of the Jacksonville Jaguars game against the Houston Texans, Trevor Lawrence burst out of the pocket and made his way to the first down marker.
As he approached the line for the win, TL swiped… but, linebacker Aziz Al-Sha’air didn’t slow his momentum down enough to crush the QB.
Check out the video…it’s a vicious hit and Lawrence’s teammates are no exception, as several of them push Al-Shair in. Both sides rush out and a brawl ensues, pushing, shoving, and crashing between the two teams.
Lawrence, as you can see, doesn’t jump to his own defense…prone on his back and eventually needed to be carted off the field.
Trevor was out for the game with a concussion BTW… not that surprising to anyone who watched the hit.
Since this terrifying moment, the game has come to a head… but watch it, you never know if all this tension might lead to a fight later on.
