England have named their squad for the series opener two days later on Thursday, November 28, when the 21-year-old Warwickshire will bat at No.3.
Ollie Pope will keep wicket in the absence of Jordan Cox, who broke his right thumb in practice in Queenstown last weekend, and will drop to No.6 in the order.
