Hillary Clinton couldn’t keep his composure throughout Donald Trump2nd Inaugural Address … openly laughs at the president after his “America’s Gulf” announcement.
Check it out… as Trump, who had just been sworn in as the 47th President of the United States, reiterated his plan to rename the Gulf of Mexico “Gulf of America,” the HC erupted in laughter… and a little side-eye from her husband, the former president Bill Clinton.
The former secretary of state did try to stifle her laughter… watch the video, you can see her burying her chin in her chest as Trump continued to address the nation.
While many of the inaugural crowd on Capitol Hill responded to Trump’s announcement with thunderous applause… 47’s political rivals, including the president. Joe Bidenvice president Kamala Harrisas well as the Clintons, notably remained seated.
All four politicians have been fiercely critical of Trump, who defeated Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election and Kamala last November.
Trump first announced his plan to rename the Gulf of Mexico earlier this month, when he told reporters at a news conference at Mar-a-Lago that “America’s Gulf” had a “beautiful ring.”
At the time, he said it was an “appropriate” rebrand given the amount of work the US is doing in the area.
However, the President of Mexico Claudia Scheinbaum to oppose Trump’s plan … suggesting that they rename North America “Mexican America,” which is what the region was once called in the 1810s.
It feels like a strange hill or, well, bay to die on… but here we are…
