Alec Baldwin not out to hunt Halina Hutchinsdeath concerns the Ukrainian family of the cinematographer “Rust”, his mother lashes out at him and refuses to attend the film’s debut screening.
Olga Solovey Baldwin “continues to add to my pain by his refusal to apologize to me and his refusal to accept responsibility for her death. Instead, he seeks to unfairly profit from my daughter’s murder.”
She says there is no justice for her daughter, and as a result she will not attend the film’s premiere at Poland’s EnergaCAMERIMAGE film festival on Wednesday. Halina’s mother, father and sister all live in Ukraine, which is next door to Poland…so the easiest way for them to see Halina’s latest film.
Olga says: “I always hope to meet my daughter in Poland to see her work come to life,” but she refuses to go, even though Alec won’t be there. The organizers of the film festival said they didn’t invite him because he would be too much of a distraction.
Halina’s overseas family has hired a lawyer Gloria Allred … who says Baldwin’s “decision not to even call the family to apologize is cruel and disrespectful to Halina and her memory.”
As we informed, to the film festival The site is down this morning when he started selling tickets for Rust. Allred called the Rust ad a profit motive for Baldwin and “others who played a role in Halina’s death.”
We’ve reached out to Baldwin’s team, but no word yet.
Remember, Alec’s involuntary manslaughter trial in New Mexico ended abruptly back in July when the judge dismissed the case after prosecutors withheld evidence from Baldwin’s team.
