Mysterious drones that have invaded New Jersey and put the state on edge are driving some gun sales … in addition to being the talk of the town at gun stores, TMZ has learned.
Here’s the deal…hundreds of drones, some as large as cars, have been seen in the skies over Jersey over the past month, and no one seems to know where they’re coming from or what they’re doing.

AP:
TMZ reached out to several gun stores around the state … we’re hearing some people are getting in handcuffs because they’re nervous about drones.
Arsenal Gun Shop is where sales are up … and, the owner tells us, there’s been a run on AR-15s due to drone concerns; customers specifically say they buy for that reason.
Many other store owners told us the sale couldn’t be definitively related to drones…but the mystery was certainly a topic of conversation in the stores and made for plenty of jokes.

As we previously reported, if the feds don’t show conclusive evidence that drones are harmless, or start doing so soon, local politicians fear it’s just a matter of time before citizens start shooting them down.
President-elect Trump released a message on his Truth Social platform on Friday … and in true Trump fashion, he didn’t mince words. “Mysterious drone sightings all over the country. Can this really happen without our government knowing? Or shoot them!!!

We had a conversation with the congregant Dawn Fantasia … and, he tells us, there’s been basically no information about the troubling situation provided by the federal government or state leaders … and there’s even confusion about which agency is really running the show.

mayor Tony Perry had similar grievances with the government … and both politicians are concerned that people will start taking matters into their own hands.
Looks like people in New Jersey are ready to start shooting … the entire state armed to the teeth against its aerial invaders.
