Frankie Muniz says she can still count on her fake family because her TV dad Bryan Cranston checks on him from time to time.
The actor turned to the racing driver, stopped nearby Inside You with Michael Rosenbaum Podcast where she revealed that her TV dad still reaches out to her … texting her quite often.
Muniz says Cranston was really a father figure to the star since they started working together when she was so young … and, even though Bryan is now a “Hollywood god,” Frankie is still high on his phone line.
FM says: “He still reaches out to me every couple of weeks, checks in on me. He really cares what I’m doing, comes to races, if my band is playing, he comes to shows.”
Frankie adds that she feels Brian is an inspiration to her… and hopes that one day it will be the same for someone else.
Muniz played Malcolm and Brian played his father Hal in seven seasons of Malcolm in the Middle…being two of four actors to appear in all 151 episodes.
Frankie has since left acting behind… to pursue other interests, which he mentioned in an interview, namely music and racing.
Meanwhile, Brian wowed audiences on the hit drama Breaking Bad for five seasons and several Oscar-nominated films since the end of MITM.
No matter where they are in life, it seems these two stars will always be family.
