The FBI checked Ben Affleck We got pictures of agents at the actor’s Los Angeles home over the weekend … but he wasn’t in any trouble with the law … TMZ has learned.
FBI agents, along with Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies, raided the Brentwood neighborhood, where Ben now lives after recently breaking up with his ex-wife. Jennifer Lopez.
Check out the photos obtained by TMZ that show 2 FBI agents standing at the gate of Ben’s house and 2 sheriff’s deputies leaving.
We’re told law enforcement officials are investigating an incident in which a private drone crashed and damaged a firefighter plane helping the LAFD fight wildfires that have so far claimed 24 lives and destroyed thousands of homes in the Los Angeles area. :

It’s unclear if FBI agents have contacted Ben … but we’ve reached out to his reps for comment … so far no word.
Meanwhile, our sources say that Ben was not the target of the FBI’s investigation, so he has nothing to worry about on the legal side. However, Ben’s home is close to the Pacific Palisades border, which has been hit hardest by the fires, so he still has safety concerns.
You may remember … last week when the fires started, it was Ben photographed during the evacuation from his house and found himself shocked to see his car on fire. He then drove to his ex-wife’s house, Jennifer Garnerwho lives nearby with her 3 kids to make sure they are ok.
