A member of the teenager’s family Ruby Vergara — who died in the Wisconsin school shooting earlier this week — apologized to the shooter at Ruby’s funeral.
In front of a large crowd paying tribute to 14-year-old Ruby on Saturday. New York Post Vergara’s uncle reports. Andy Remus – said the family has “no bitterness or unforgiveness towards 15-year-old Natalie Rapnow and her family”.
Remus says that Rapnow’s family also lost a girl… and Rapnow, ‘God’s precious child’, just lost his way before the shooting.
Vergara’s uncle says the family prefers to think about all the love and kindness Ruby brought into the world … instead of feeling burned by how her life ended.
The service was held at City Church, near the house of worship where Monday’s shooting took place.
As you know … Rupnow killed Vergara and teacher Erin West, 42, before taking their own lives at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, WI on Monday.
Although his motive remains unknown, the Carlsbad, Calif., resident Alexander Pafendorf was arrested for exchanging messages with Natalie in which she said she was going to open fire on a local government building.

We spoke to a former Pafendorf neighbor who lived next door to Natalie for years before moving to Carlsbad, and the neighbor claims Alexander showed: disturbing anti-social behaviour when he lived in the building.
Police are still investigating the incident.
