Prepare for a much-changed Formula 1 grid in 2025 as the final season of the sport’s current rules era prepares for a further 24-race tour around the world, all live. Sky Sports F1.
Next season’s calendar features a record 24 Grands Prix for the second consecutive year, although this time it kicks off in Melbourne, Australia on March 16, when Albert Park will host its first season opener since 2019.
As Ramadan does not take place until March 2025, both Bahrain, who hosted the previous four season openers, and Saudi Arabia move to April, where they will host the fourth and fifth rounds on April 13 and April 20, respectively. in
The season begins again in December as Abu Dhabi brings down the curtain on the current generation of cars and engines ahead of the 2026 major overhaul on 7 December.
There will once again be six Sprint weekends featuring the 100km Saturday race in 2025; Belgium will replace Austria as the venue for the alternate format, with China, Miami, Austin, Brazil and Qatar joining once again.
Thus, only three teams will announce the composition with which they started in 2024. Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari is probably the most eagerly awaited driver move of all time.
