Veatrick Sarri’s late goal earned Everton a 1-1 draw against Aston Villa in the Women’s Super League at Walton Hall Park.
Villa, still looking for a permanent manager with Sean Goater still in charge, took the lead in the 31st minute.
Full-back Noel Maritz sent in a deep cross from the right which was met by Rachel Daly and headed into the bottom corner by home goalkeeper Courtney Brosnan.
However, Everton grabbed a dramatic equalizer in the 89th minute when Sarri pounced on a loose ball on the edge of the box before drilling it into the bottom right corner.
The draw leaves both sides with 10 points from 11 WSL games.
