The wicked cool moment continues Drew Barrymore‘s talk show … he surprised the “Wicked” star Ariana Grande Glinda’s original wand from the movie that started it all.
Ariana is a guest on Thursday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show , and the preview shows the moment Drew pulls out the wand … totally rocking Ariana.
Of course, Ariana plays Glinda in the new Wicked movie … so it was only natural that Drew pulled out all the stops to get her hands on the wand from the 1939 film.
This was no easy task for Drew and his producers… as he explained, the wand was previously on display at The Smithsonian before being sold to a private party… so he had to pull some strings to get it here.

The wand is worth a lot of money…someone bought it at an auction in September for over $100,000.
