Werewolves, vampires and more werewolves will no doubt be out on Halloween night… but Saturday was all about the dogs, with costumed creatures taking over Toronto.
The Howl’oween festival in the town commons known as The Bentway took place this weekend…with local vendors selling pet-related goods, prizes for puppies who compete in costume contests, and lots of dogs ready to run around. their things.
Check out these fierce Rottweilers … dressed in classic devil gear.
Or this chick, with a pair of fake arms, a jersey and a football… ready to take the next drive to the end zone.
Of course, some owners wanted to dress up alongside their dogs…like this couple who dressed up as a princess and a knight, and their dog acted like a princess and snuggled up in their owner’s arms.
More iconic costumes from the event… Chucky the Crazy Doll, Beetlejuice, the Clown, Burlesque Dancer and more!
And one particular pup seemed to be the best prize you could pull out of a claw machine…with an entire box set built around the smiling dog.
The event ran from 12pm to 4pm and featured tons of dogs all dressed up… and you should visit our gallery to see the scariest dogs Toronto has to offer.
