Danny Trejo sends a strong message to her celebrity peers, including Kim Kardashian — stop using the Los Angeles wildfires to push your own causes!!!
The actor tells TMZ … he doesn’t believe now is the time for Hollywood’s elite to get on their respective soapboxes to take on various causes … especially with the brutal fires burning across the region right now.

As he sees it, … helping the victims should be the only focus, even if many celebrities like Kim have good intentions.
He specifically calls out SKIMs founder … after he decided to speak up about it inmate firefighters receive low wages because they put their lives on the line.
Danny objects to Kim making this situation “political”… and he points out that inmates fighting fires get other benefits for their service.
Denny, who notably worked as a firefighter while behind bars, explains that inmates who volunteer to be incarcerated first responders get time off those sentences.
Kim’s argument is simple. inmates are “heroes”…only getting paid $1 an hour to fight huge fires.That pittance hasn’t changed since 1984…and that $5 an hour raise was killed right before these fires broke out wants it fixed.
Denny says they are concerned about reduced sentences for these convicted felons.
He points out that most of the money the inmates make will go toward their restitution… so it’s unlikely they’ll see much, even if they do get more dough.

Danny also has an emphatic message for potential arsonists out there… if anyone is responsible for any of these monstrous infernos, rest assured they will have a tough time behind bars.
