Daniel Dubois will next defend his IBF heavyweight title against Joseph Parker on February 22.
Dubois became the interim IBF title holder when he defeated Filip Hrgovic in June.His status was elevated to full world champion when Oleksandr Usyk’s commitment to a rematch with Tyson Fury on December 21 led to him having to vacate the belt.
London’s Dubois then confirmed his own world title with an emphatic five-round knockout victory over Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium in September.
Parker is a former world champion himself and has been looking for another title shot on the back of a string of notable wins, most notably upsetting former WBC champion Deontay Wilder last year and then defeating Zhilei Zhang to win the WBO interim title.
On the bill of the same season in Riyadh, the undisputed champion of the world in the lightweight category Artur Beterbiev will meet Dmitry Bivol in a rematch.
The undefeated Beterbiev combined the WBC, WBA, WBO and IBF world titles at 175 pounds with his controversial decision victory over Bivol in October.
Bivol then became the first professional opponent to go the distance with the fearsome puncher Beterbiev.
