Daniel Dubois is setting his sights on an undisputed world heavyweight championship clash with the winner of the Oleksandr Usyk-Tyson Fury rematch.
Dubois won the IBF heavyweight title that Usyk vacated and retained the belt with a stunning demolition of Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium.
Usyk, who himself has been undisputed in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions, will fight Fury for the other three major heavyweight titles live on December 21st. Sky Sports box office.
But Dubois has a message for the Usyk-Fury II winner. “I’m coming for their belts,” he said Sky Sports. “Definitely, the best guys, I want them, I want them all.
“Just going to break through them. If it’s Usyk, it’s going to be revenge. Or if it’s Fury, I’m ready to cover that area as well. We’ll deal with it when we get there.”
“It’s one-on-one. Never ignore anyone. I’ve got some big fights.
“Just keep going through them, then eventually I’ll be there, undisputed. That’s my goal.”
His next IBF title defense is on February 22 in Riyadh against former WBO champion Joseph Parker.
He would then like to box the winner of Usyk-Fury later in 2025.
“Having said that, yes. But I’m not ignoring Parker. It’s for him too. He will fight as hard as I do. Never ignore anyone. Deal with him first and then we can move on. that one,” Dubois said.
Of the current untitled heavyweight contenders, Parker is arguably in the best form after excellent wins over Gilles Zhang and Deontay Wilder, however Dubois chose him for the voluntary defense.
“I’m ready to become a truly elite fighter. My last five or four fights have all been at a high level. I have to keep climbing that mountain until I reach the moon and the universe.” Dubois said with a smile.
“Seek and destroy, that’s my mindset. Gear up properly. He’s up the mountain now. So I’ve got to go out there and better him in every department.”
After that excellent win over Joshua at Wembley, Dubois has new confidence.
“They say that it happens like that. you win the world title, you improve. I want to put those words to the test. I have some new superpowers now,” he said.
“Definitely something has changed and I want to keep winning and keep going.”
