Caroline Dubois: British fighter says she wants to be undisputed lightweight world champion by end of 2025 | Boxing News

Caroline Dubois wants to win every major featherweight championship in the next 12 months.

Her plan for world domination begins on Saturday when she puts the WBC belt on the line against Canada’s Jessica Kamara live. Sky Sports.

It will be Dubois’ first defense of the belt since moving from interim to full world champion last month.

Caroline Dubois on Terry Harper

Dubois is looking for a unification fight with Terry Harper in 2025 and was unimpressed with his win over Rhiannon Dixon.

His goal is “to be undisputed by the end of this year.” In order to achieve that, Dubois must first defend his WBC title against Kamara and then look at fights for the other belts.

Terry Harper is the WBO title holder and Olympic silver medalist Beatrice Ferreira is the IBF champion.The WBA 135-pound belt, previously held by Katie Taylor, is now vacant.

But Dubois believes that taking all those zones by 2025 is “very possible.”

He explained. “From being an amateur to becoming a professional, advancing my career, being the world champion is the beginning for me.

“For me, honestly, I want to be undisputed, I want to be a multi-weight champion of the world. I want to do something that’s never been done before in women’s boxing, and I feel like I can do that.

“I have the ability, I have the skill, it’s just to make it happen. The doors have to open at the right time.

“I’m very excited for the future,” Dubois added. “Being world champion is every kid’s dream and I was able to do it and I was very happy about it.

“I want to be a champion for a long time and I will fight that Saturday.”
