Cardi B: doubles his approval Kamala Harris … speaking Friday night at a Democratic candidate rally in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The rapper hit the podium to address the crowd at a campaign event, which also featured speeches GloRilla:, Flo Millie, MC Lyte, The Easley Brothersand: DJ Gemini Gilly.
But it was Cardi’s performance that drew the most attention, especially since the rapper originally had planned not to vote this election…that is, until Biden dropped out and Harris ran.
Since then, Cardi has been a vocal supporter of the VP … the chart-topper has previously stated that she has always supported Harris.
In an Instagram post shared in JulyCardi wrote … “STOP PLAYING WITH ME!!!! Check the date… said this on JUNE 30th. You were told that Kamala was supposed to be the 2024 candidate.”
Cardi joins a number of A-listers who have campaigned with Harris as Election Day approaches.
Jennifer Lopez spoke at the vice president’s Halloween rally in Las Vegas, endorsing the presidential candidate after calling Puerto Rico a “floating island of trash.” Donald TrumpMadison Square Garden rally on Sunday.
Destiny’s Child alum Beyonce and: Kelly Rowland even reunited last week … walking out of a Houston rally in support of Harris’ Oval Office bid.
A number of other celebrities have expressed their support for Harris on social media, including Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, John Legend, Jamie Lee Curtis, Katy Perry and: Kerry Washingtonamong others.
Will these efforts translate into enough votes by November 5th? We’ll have to wait and see.
