In a video posted to Instagram, the actress remembered Tony as her “favorite” actress … fighting back tears while thanking fans for their “well wishes.”

He expressed a similar sentiment in the caption, adding… “The great actor Tony Todd has left us and is now an angel. As he was in life. Later, but I can’t right now. I love you.”
Tony Todd The man best known for his starring role in the horror film Candyman has died, TMZ has confirmed.
His representative Jeffrey Goldbergtells us … Tony died of natural causes Wednesday night at his home in Marina del Rey, Los Angeles. Goldberg did not reveal the exact cause of death.
Todd was a long-time actor with an impressive list of credits, appearing in films such as The Raven, The Rock, Final Destination, Squad and Night of the Living Dead.
Perhaps his biggest roles were in the thriller “Candyman”, where he played the main character. He starred in the original 1992 film as well as three sequels, Candyman. Farewell to the Flesh” (1995), “Candyman 3: Day of the Dead” (1999) and “Candyman” (2021).
His television credits included Boston Public, Law & Order, Smallville, Charmed, 21 Jump Street, and Star Trek. The Next Generation”.
