For many, Boxing Day means leftover Christmas dinner sandwiches and high-profile racing, with the Sky Sports Racing cameras heading to Wolverhampton, Fontwell and Sedgefield.

4.05 Wolverhampton – Onesmoothoperator and Claymore title

2.17 Fontwell v Lingfield winner Spike Jones bid to follow

A favorite of Fontwell Spike Jonzewhich is a three-time winner at the track, is back in action The Golden Age of Betting. BetMGM Handicap (2.17).

Sam Drinkwater’s seven-year-old returned to form when he scored at Lingfield on his last outing and could be difficult to beat if on similar form here.

Yeland made a winning chase debut when landing the Doncaster Novice Handicap and a repeat of that effort would see him 4lb higher off the mark.

Do you need it? he has won three of his six starts over fences and looks set to have strong ambitions as he makes his seasonal comeback for trainer Max Comley.

Meanwhile, 11-year-old The Paddy Pie: rolled back the years to score at this track earlier this month and a £5 penalty may not stop him from following through.
