They wrote … “Throughout filming ‘“It ends with us,” we saw as she plucked up the courage to ask for a safe workplace for herself and her co-stars on set, and we were appalled to read the evidence of a deliberate and vindictive effort to discredit her voice.
As the women continued, they said they were outraged to see “the callous exploitation of the stories of domestic violence survivors to silence a woman who was asking for safety”… and noted that the “hypocrisy was astounding.”
Before they signed their statement, they praised Blake for speaking out, adding… “We were struck by the reality that even if a woman is as strong, famous and wealthy as our friend Blake, she can face severe retaliation for being bold. ask for a safe work environment.”
TMZ told… Blake is suing the It Ends With Us director and actor Justin Baldoniwhere she alleged a smear campaign against her after she accused her of being sexually harassed on the set of the drama.
Baldoni’s lawyer, Brian Friedmanlater strongly criticized the lawsuit … calling it “an attempt to fix his negative reputation.”
He also vehemently denied the allegations against Baldoni, calling them “false, offensive and deliberately malicious”.
