Al Jardin a trip to Kokomo may be necessary… ‘Cause the Beach Boys star is dealing with a legal headache after he was sued for allegedly refusing to sign merchandise.
Here’s the deal with a man named … Mid Chasky sued the Beach Boys butcher, alleging that Jardine agreed to sign merchandise advertised as “signed by three members of The Beach Boys.”
However, according to Mead’s lawyer. Matthew J. BlittJardine refused to sign the memorabilia … in violation of his contractual obligation.
Chasky is suing Jardine for $100K … plus he wants the singer to cover his legal fees.
Jardine founded the Beach Boys in 1961 Brian:, Dennis and: Carl Wilson and their cousin Mike Love. He’s still a member of the band… playing regularly with them for over 60 years.
Of course, there have been some feuds between the band members in recent years … although Jardine released the single “Wish” last year and dedicated it to longtime bandmate Brian Wilson, who also donated a portion of the proceeds to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
We’ve reached out to Jardine, so far no word back.
