Artem Chigvintsev says his bank account took a hit, losing $100,000 in income, after he was arrested for domestic violence against a married woman. Nikki Garcia (Bella)
According to new court documents obtained by TMZ, Artem says he was still a working dancer despite Nicki’s claims to the contrary when he lost his spot on Dancing With The Stars. Artem says he regularly did dance work on Saturdays and Sundays, and each project would last 20 weekends.
But, after her bust, Artem says her picture was leaked to the press based on Nikki’s false accusations, and her job opportunities dried up, eroding her $100,000 in earnings.
Artem added: “I also lost the social media promotion income that (Nicki) continues to benefit from because she was more concerned about her career when she lied to the police than mine.”
As we reported … Artem was arrested in late August for felony domestic violence after he got into an ugly fight with Nick while their 4-year-old son Mateo was present in Napa, California.
The Napa County District Attorney’s Office investigated but declined to file criminal charges against Artem because they believed the case could not be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
At the same time, Niki filed for divorce from Artem, and now they are both fighting in court for their property and custody of the child.
Artem’s lawyer, Ilona Antonyanfiled his latest legal documents in response to Nicki’s allegations in a domestic violence restraining order.
