Arnold Schwarzenegger Thanksgiving hosted several law enforcement officers… though he wasn’t expecting them when the day began.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the LAPD responded to a call that a bomb had been placed in the politician’s mailbox at his Los Angeles home.
We’re told police rushed to the home and searched the mailbox and surrounding area … but they found no explosive device.
Our sources say officers have spoken to Schwarzenegger’s security … and, we’re told, they explained that it would be virtually impossible to plant a bomb in the home because the star has 24-hour security and video surveillance.
BTW … Arnold wasn’t home when all this was happening, he was actually at the gym pumping some iron before he chewed, we’re told. LA is treating it as a deterrent … but no arrests yet.
Sources close to Arnold tell us they are grateful the officers came to the home on the day off to check on the situation.
