Ariana Grande got jokes … and the “Wicked” star wasn’t afraid to let one fly at him at the Palm Springs International Film Awards.
While accepting the Rising Star Award for his performance in Wicked … AG noted that he never thought that when he started out as a child actor, he would be in the industry at age 31.

And with that he quipped… “I want to start off by thanking my good friends Botox and Juvederm. I thought I’d be hearing ‘Slightly Withering Star’ or ‘Drooping Star’ by now, so thank you.”
Jennifer Coolidge presented Ariana with the award… and made a few jokes about the honor… “Is Ariana Grande up yet? I mean, she’s barely 30 and she’s been famous since the Eisenhower administration!” :

AG made sure to shout out her “sister witch” Cynthia Erivo and director John M. No from the musical blockbuster… and Coolidge said. “Thank you Jennifer for showing up and coming this way. I can’t tell you what it means to me.”
