Dwyane WadeHis new statue just isn’t feeling the heat from internet trolls … at least one former NBA star is making fun of it, too. Chris Webber telling TMZ Sports he thinks the monument looks like Morpheus.

We caught up with C Webb at LAX on Tuesday, and when we asked about the Wade sculpture that was just erected at the Kaseya Center in Miami on Sunday … he couldn’t hold back the artwork.

He told us he thought it was more like it Laurence Fishburne‘s character in The Matrix … or even Chris RockPuki from “New Jack City”.

“Looks like the lead singer”Five heartbeatswhen he was singing,” Webber added with a laugh.

Weber, however, made it clear that he’s not overshadowing Wade at all … in fact, he said he has Dwyane as his No. 3 all-time two-guard, right behind him. Michael Jordan and: Kobe Bryant.

But still, he definitely wanted to tease the new creation, and he praised Wade for being able to a bit the same.

As for how he thinks all of this could have been avoided, he suggested that sculptors spend more time with their subjects in their personal lives… and not just base their work off of paintings.

If the folks at Marquette University are looking for their own statue of Wade in the future, … take notes.
