Team Asia held a commanding 9-3 lead overnight and despite a late charge led by Jason Shaw, Yap secured a superb 5-1 win against Sanchez Ruiz to seal the deal.

Yap capitalized on Ruiz’s missed 7-ball to grab the first rack, but Ruiz was quick to respond after Yap scratched on the break.
