U.S. officials say Israel has narrowed down its targets for strike on Iran

US officials believe Israel has limited their target Response to Iran’s attackwhat these officials describe as Iran’s military and energy infrastructure.

There is no sign of Israel it will target nuclear facilities or carry out assassinations, but US officials have insisted that the Israelis have not made a final decision on how and when to act.

President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not discuss details during the call this week, US officials said.

The US president also stressed that Israel must consider how difficult it will be to successfully carry out the war in Lebanon and to face the fierce threat of a second front from Iran.
