Dill Pickle Dip (With Clean Ingredients)

Summer is when fresh, seasonal vegetables are abundant at the farmer’s market and in the garden. My children have no problem eating their vegetables, But our family really enjoys diving well. This dollop is creamy, crunchy, and everything you want in a dip.

You may have seen viral pickle dips circulating on social media. While they look delicious in the videos, they lean toward certain ingredients that I’m not a fan of. Good news? You can easily make your own dolce pickle dip recipe with cream cheese and all the good stuff, but with clean ingredients.

Dill Pickle Dip (but keep it pure)

A pickle made with Grillo’s dill pickles is all the rage right now. And if you look at the ingredients list, it’s actually very clean. However, they are not in every grocery store, and I prefer to use organic sprinkles whenever I can.

If you decide to make your own, one of the best options is hand brewing. They are naturally bursting with healthy probiotics and are great for gut health. In fact, you can make more common homemade vinegar at home with organic ingredients. Here they are. My recipe For both of them.

Don’t have the time or inclination to make pickles from scratch? From the refrigerated section, the Bubis brand is traditionally developed and a good alternative.

Milk alternatives

The main ingredients in the dip are cream cheese, sour cream and Greek yogurt. They create a soft, smooth base for the pickers. The cream cheese adds richness, the sour cream and yogurt add a little tang, and the yogurt gives the dip some lightness.

I like to make this dill cocktail dip with Greek yogurt, but other recipes make dill pickles with cottage cheese. If you’re looking for a high protein dip made with cottage cheese, you might like this one. Smoked Salmon Dip Or mine Radish dip.

The biggest clean ingredient swap in this dolt pickle dip recipe is the ranch dressing. You can pick up a packet of ranch seasoning at any grocery store, but it’s hard to find without MSG, artificial flavors, and secret “flavors.”

I came up with my own years ago Livestock recipe. I make a large batch and use it as needed for dips, meats, and this pickle. You can also get Pre-made breeding powder here If you choose to buy with the best ingredients.

Tips for making pickles

Grating your own cheese may seem like an unnecessary step, but I think it’s worth it. Most grated cheese compounds are coated with an anti-caking agent like cellulose, which is basically sawdust (yes, really!). Usually one of the kids cuts the cheese while I stir together the rest of the dip.

This pickle gets better the longer it sits. Make it the night before a party and it’ll be even tastier the next day. I like to put some extra bacon bits to sprinkle right on top before serving for an extra crunch. It also keeps well in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

You can also easily adjust the spice level in this dip. Add some jalapeño seeds if you like it spicier or add more hot sauce. I don’t like the heat? Leave the hot pepper completely.

With pasture-raised bacon, organic dairy products, fresh spices, and probiotic pickles, this pureed dill pickle is sure to be a hit!

Dill Pickle Dip

The viral pick that everyone is making… pure with real food ingredients. No dairy, no oils, no additives. Ready in 10 minutes and even faster.

  • 8 oz Cream cheese (soft)
  • ½ Cup Sour cream (full fat)
  • ½ Cup Plain whole milk Greek yogurt
  • 1½ TBSP Breeding clothing mix (Homemade)
  • 1½ Cups Dill pickles (finely chopped)
  • 2 TBSP Pickle juice (saved from the hedgehog)
  • 4 Green onion (thinly sliced)
  • ½ Cup cheddar cheese (freshly chopped)
  • 4 Pieces Bacon (fried and crumbled)
  • 1 Jalapeno (optional, seeded and finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Hot sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • Add the cream cheese, sour cream, and Greek yogurt to a large bowl. Beat together until smooth and fluffy. A hand blender gives the smoothest texture, but a sturdy spoon works just as well.

  • Add the beef broth, hot salt, salt and pepper until it is completely mixed.

  • Add diced vinegar, pickle juice, green onion, shredded cheddar, crumbled bacon, and jalapeño, if using. Fold slowly until everything is evenly distributed.

  • Taste and adjust as desired. Add more pickle juice for extra tang, more hot sauce for heat, or a pinch of salt if needed. Remember the pickles are already salty so go slowly.

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

  • Transfer to a serving plate. Garnish with extra bacon crumbles, diced gravy or green onions.
