In 2023, a parish of the atmospheric rivers brought a month of hard rainfall, filling the reservoirs and the average snowbox far away from the average levels. This flood flood was a great relief after almost two decades of drought. But a seismic study revealed that the surface water had little to recover the state-deposited reserves underground.
