New York City Mayor Adams to have ‘routine’ medical tests, limit schedule

Adams, 64, is expected to judge in April on federal corruption charges.

He was indicted and charged in September five felony countsincluding fraud, bribery and soliciting a contribution from a foreign national. He pleaded not guilty.

Adams has met with President-elect Donald Trump before taking office earlier this month, according to his office.

“President Trump and I had a productive conversation about the needs of New York and what is best for our city, and how the federal government can play a more supportive role in improving the lives of New Yorkers,” Adams said in a statement.

Adams said she and Trump “did not discuss my legal case.”
