A$AP Rocky Headed to court on gun charges … The Grammy-nominated rapper just turned down a plea deal from Los Angeles prosecutors, opting for a jury trial instead.
Los Angeles County prosecutors offered him a deal. if found guilty of one of the felony charges, he would have served 180 days in jail, with three years suspended. But AR told the judge today that he has decided against the deal. Rocky could be sentenced to up to 24 years in prison , if found guilty at trial.
We caught up with AR on his way to court this morning, but he had no comment.
Rocky – legal name Rakim Myers – is accused of shooting an ex-boyfriend 4 times with a gun in a Hollywood hotel in 2021, accompanied by other men.
As we told you … Terrell EfronAKA: A$AP RelliPart of the A$AP Mob stated that Rocky threatened to kill him before allegedly pulling the trigger that night.Relli was being treated for a minor hand injury at the time.

The police have moved in Rocky’s house in 2022, shortly after leaving for Barbados with his partner. Rihannathe mother of his 2 sons. Rocky was charged with assault with a semi-automatic firearm in 2022. He pleaded not guilty and was released on bail.
Rocky’s lawyer Joe Tacopinanow says the weapon was a prop gun, a starter gun used for demonstration.
More than 100 people were being considered for the 12-member jury … the trial is scheduled to begin this week in downtown Los Angeles.
