As President Donald Trump was sworn in for his second term, a long list of political leaders, tech executives, celebrities and more were at the US Capitol.
Former Vice President Mike Pence was spotted in the Rotunda, as well as former President Barack Obama, former President Bill Clinton and former First Lady Hillary Clinton. Former President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush were also in attendance.
Former First Lady Michelle Obama — who has attended every inauguration since 2009, including Trump’s first inauguration in 2017 — was absent.

Former President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, former Vice President Kamala Harris and Second Lady Doug Emhoff were in attendance.
Several tech CEOs were also in attendance, including X’s Elon Musk, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, Apple’s Tim Cook, and TikTok’s Shou Chew.
Chinese Vice President Han Zheng was also present at the event.

Joe Rogan, whose podcast was featured on the Trump campaign, was spotted in the Rotunda, as was former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
Singer Carrie Underwood also made an appearance, singing “America the Beautiful” after Trump was sworn in.
The packed Emancipation Hall was attended by YouTube celebrities Jake and Logan Paul, UFC fighter Conor McGregor and podcaster Theo Von.
Many GOP leaders were seen at the Capitol, including former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell, former US House Speaker John Boehner, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, and Sen. Tom Arkansas. cotton

Among them were several Republican governors, including Texas Governor Greg Abbott, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum.
A number of Democrats also attended, including New York Mayor Eric Adams, former Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey and Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota.
Some Democrats said they would not attend the inauguration, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who attended Trump’s inauguration in 2017. A spokesman for Pelosi confirmed she would be skipping the event, but did not say why.
In an Instagram story, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said she would skip the inauguration, saying she doesn’t “celebrate rapists,” referring to the many. allegations of sexual assault Against Trump
