The owners of Peanut the Squirrel and Fred the Racoon are fighting to get the animals’ bodies back after both were controversially confiscated and put down following a home invasion months ago.

Mark Longo shared mediation Via the IG … demanding the return of Peanut and Fred’s bodies to the New York Department of Environmental Protection so they can be properly dispatched.

Longo said he and his wife. Danielaaren’t even sure if the bodies are still there, but they must be because their lawyer sent out a conservation notice to make sure they weren’t destroyed.

In the original petition, she says her nonprofit organization, P’Nuts Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary, has the right to give P’Nuts and Fred a proper farewell, with the same love and care they received in life.

The petition also sums up everything they’ve been through with losing Peanut and Fred, something they’ve been vocal about in the past, especially after their pets’ deaths went viral.
