Kate Middleton says her cancer is in remission

Kate, princess of walesannounced Tuesday that she is in remission from cancer, less than a year after publicly sharing her diagnosis.

The 43-year-old princess shared the update in a statement on Xwriting, “It’s a relief to be in remission now and I’m still focused on recovery.”

“As anyone who has been through a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. However, I am looking forward to a full year,” she wrote, in part. “There’s a lot to look forward to. Thank you all for your support.”

Kate announced in March that she had been diagnosed with cancer and would be undergoing chemotherapy. He has not publicly shared further details of his diagnosis or treatment.

She shared in September that she had finished chemotherapy and was focused on staying “cancer free”.
