Donald Trumpshe is going to dance to one of her favorite songs when she celebrates her inauguration … because the people of the village are booked for one of her events!!!
The group just announced that it has accepted an invitation from President-elect Trump’s campaign to attend some inauguration events … including at least one event with Trump himself.
Villagers used to speak out against Trump by using their songs at his rallies, but they changed their tune last year … admitting that Trump is good for business.
Here’s how the band explained their decision to their fans… “We know this won’t make some of you happy to hear, but we believe that music should be made without politics.”
Trump’s favorite song is “YMCA,” and people in the village say they hope the anthem “will help unite the country after a tumultuous and divisive campaign in which our preferred candidate lost.”
To be clear, The Village People are not performing at the actual inauguration next Monday…instead, they say they are “presenting at various events as the 2025 Donald J. Part of Trump’s inauguration.”
