Yvette Nicole Brown and: Kim Wheatley stand behind the mayor of Los Angeles Karen Bass … saying she’s a woman of steel and people unfairly criticize her because of her race.
We caught up with the two stars in Los Angeles on Saturday … and we asked them about Mayor Bass’ response to the devastating wildfires.

Brown starts off by saying that Karen has a backbone of steel and she’s been a black woman in America for a long time… so this kind of shooting is nothing new to her.
Wheatley and Brown agree that people should stand behind their mayor…and think that some of the criticism stems from ignorance of the different parts of Los Angeles; do not lie exclusively at his feet.
Yvette ends the conversation by saying that there have been fires in Los Angeles for years… but in her 30 years in Los Angeles, she can’t remember a mayor raking over the coals like this, and she alludes to race.
The Palisades Fire is the largest of several fires to hit the city this week. It has already burned more than 23,000 acres … and is expected to continue for some time.
Bass has come under attack from prominent conservatives and even some famous celebrities, including Khloe Kardashian WHO called him a “joke”.
