Deon Cole had a super busy week… because he ended up in the hospital on his birthday, and when he was finally discharged, he went home and had to pack and escape the Los Angeles wildfires.
The comedian and Old Spice frontman posted about the unfortunate turn of events Friday night … sharing a photo of himself in a car packed with sentimental items like flowers his mother gave him before she passed away in 2021.
He also shared a video showing firelight creeping over the hills in the distance.
Cole wrote in his X post: “This day is devastating!!!! I got out of the hospital earlier, went home, then had to pack what I could to evacuate. As I was leaving, I saw the fire coming up behind my house, nightmare!!!
On Thursday, Deon posted a photo of her in a hospital bed, on her birthday, no less … thanking people for their well wishes, though she didn’t elaborate on what landed her in the hospital.
DC is one of many Hollywood strongholds forced to flee their homes as the Pacific Palisades wildfires raged in West Los Angeles earlier this week. Spencer Pratt and: Heidi Monday, Paris Hilton, Jeff Bridges and more — lost their homes to fire.
The Palisades Fire has burned more than 22,000 acres… and is currently 11% contained, looking poised to do much more damage.
