Mayor of Los Angeles Karen Bass quickly glossed over the shocking comments the Los Angeles fire chief made Friday night Christine Crowley … calling his honor big time.
In his first appearance since a long, closed-door meeting on Fox 11 Friday following Crowley’s comments … Mayor Bass said he and the chief have their “differences” and they will be worked out down the road; .” He bypassed the drama of the meeting.

Obviously … “differences” seems like a pretty big understatement … as KC said the city, referring to Bass, “failed” its part after the mayor called for massive budget cuts , even after the boss asked more than a month ago for more dough for malfunctioning equipment and other combat issues.
KC is still in his role as chief … and spoke to the media after Bass gave an update on the growing fires.He didn’t directly address the comments he made the day before.
Both leaders later doubled down on their opening comments … adding that they were focused solely on fighting the fires when pressed again by reporters about the drama.
Battered Bass as well as Governor. Gavin Newsom – scattered by some of the public over their response, or lack thereof, to the deadly wildfires that have ravaged parts of Pacific Palisades, Malibu and Altadena throughout the week.
A “frustrated Californian” has started an online petition calling for Mayor Bass’ immediate resignation … so far it has received more than 56,000 signatures.
